Becoming Your Unique Value

Bruce Muzik, who motivates and helps people to realise their potential, writes in How NOT To Attract Money that the actual way to attract money is "by providing or creating some kind of VALUE that people are willing to pay money for". Bruce gives the formula "GIVE VALUE = GET OPPORTUNITIES (TO EXCHANGE VALUE FOR MONEY)" and suggests "the secret to wealth creation is discovering your unique VALUE that you can add to the world, and then spreading that value in a way that is enjoyable for you".

I agree in part but look further into what underlies your value.

My Day of Twitter

Twitter at Silicon Cape launch event On the morning of October 8th, slippers on feet and coffee in hand as my computer connected to the world, I saw a tweeference to the Silicon Cape Initiative's launch event flash briefly in the corner of my screen. 'Ah, is that today?' I thought to myself.

Most interestingly, it was the #SiliconCape hash-tag that caught my attention.

Participating (remotely via Twitter) in the Silicon Cape Initiative's launch event I was left motivated and with this to tweet: "Certainly feeling inspired & proud to be a Cape Town entrepreneur/geek". Reflecting in the days that followed and reviewing the morning's tweets, I acknowledge a certain perspective I hold which I unpack here for discussion.

Joomla 1.6 Ron Severdia explains in Joomla Projecting the good reasons for delays with Joomla! version 1.6 and promises a second Alpha release soon. I say: "no worries, please take as much time as you need". Why? The transition from Joomla! 1.0 to 1.5 goes on still...
