Meeting some international visitors for the first time over dinner the inevitable question is asked: "So, what do you do?". With my reply the lady who asked almost fell off her chair. She recovered quickly and challenged me: what could I teach her about Tantra while at the dinner table in 30 seconds?

April Newsletter 2011

There are things worth fighting for, being right is not one of them.

One of the teachings I've been exposed to is that, no matter how 'right' I think I am, if the results of my life do not match up I have to consider the possibility that maybe I'm wrong. It's not actually about being right or wrong, it's about adaptability - doing things differently and being open to surprises. For me, this is a tough lesson.

I think I know but I don't. I only have ideas. I create structures to rest in the safety of knowing yet those structures are thin, held barely by the strength of my conviction. What do I mean?

January Newsletter 2011

Wow, December was full - I look forward to sharing insights and experiences from this time. As January slowly lifts it’s head to the new year I feel excitement for all that is to come, including an international trip in the year and some additions to what I offer in sessions.

December Newsletter 2010

There is a music track I've experienced as a chakra meditation. At each point where attention shifts from one chakra the next, the music seems to 'rev' up to the next level. The shift is distinct and can be strongly felt.

It feels like the resonance of my life has just scaled up to a new state. Surprising occurrences and changes occur rapidly - nothing if fixed day-to-day, sometimes even hour-to-hour. It's easy to get confused so I find myself being more an observer while simultaneously allowing myself to respond with its flow.
