Wow, December was full - I look forward to sharing insights and experiences from this time. As January slowly lifts it’s head to the new year I feel excitement for all that is to come, including an international trip in the year and some additions to what I offer in sessions.
In summary, the last month was incredible. I’ve met many amazing people, some who travelled to Cape Town from all over the world, and have gone through many experiences which already impact my life. December was a time for celebration, pain, intimacy, adventure, sadness, delight and much more. May life continue to deliver with such aliveness.
I have began sessions for the year, basing myself at Phakalane in Hout Bay. It feels good for me to invite you to journey with me in your personal exploration at this special place - I’ve been through many powerful experiences on that land. Sessions are continuously evolving as I learn, and December’s adventures bring even more to what I share. This includes offering Tantric Touch and Sacred Spot rituals.
Blissdance begins in 2011 with a full weekend dance retreat at Bodhi Khaya near Standford/Gansbaai. I will be assisting Shakti with this. Blissdance is free-dance where we explore our inner and outer worlds through movement and stillness, music and silence. The first Wednesday evening dance in Kalk Bay is the 26th January.
There has been a strong request to resume the once a month movie night. Once information is available on this it will be posted to the website and on Facebook.
For the end of the year an International trip is planned, travelling for four to six months. This is constantly morphing and progressively taking firm shape. Some of the places being considered are Zambia, Portugal, Spain, USA (west coast), Hawaii, some Polynesian islands, New Zealand and Australia’s east coast (Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne).
Sexuality, dance and community with be explored during this journey while offering session work (individual and couples counselling and/or body work around sexuality, intimacy and relationships) and workshops/retreats (for men and/or women around sexuality and dance). The idea is to offer this in conjunction with practitioners in the areas visited so that an exchange of knowledge takes place and what is learnt is brought back to and shared in South Africa. Let me know if you have any contacts in these areas who support the work I do.
Best wishes for an amazing 2011.
In the beauty of being,
Stephen
