Meeting some international visitors for the first time over dinner the inevitable question is asked: "So, what do you do?". With my reply the lady who asked almost fell off her chair. She recovered quickly and challenged me: what could I teach her about Tantra while at the dinner table in 30 seconds?
In many ways it's a difficult topic to talk about, especially as it's focus is experiential. The closest I've come to a description on my own website is an obscure poem called Love One, Love All. This month I give an introductory talk on Tantra, looking specifically at Tantric Sex, at a new venue in Woodstock called Hoodwinx. It will be followed in early June with a three hour workshop introducing the basics of conscious sexuality.
For my 30 second challenge I offered: "Slow down".
Shakti is travelling again to distant lands. In her absence I facilitate Blissdance every Wednesday evening at the Kalk Bay community center over the coming few months.
Two new articles published on the Dances with Chaos website:
-
An Egg: analogies for conscious relating - the first of a series from a talk I gave at Phakalane in April.
-
Don't be Sneaky - a Lojong slogan I presented
In the beauty of being,
